Masaledar/Spicy Watermelon Gazpacho
- 3 cups watermelon, deseeded
- 1 tomato, roughly chopped
- ½ cup red bell pepper
- ½ cup red onion
- 1 cup cucumber
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp fennel seed powder
- handful of mint and basil leaves
- 1 green chili (add more if you like it spicier)
- ½ tsp garam masala + more for sprinkling
- salt and pepper to taste
- Put all the ingredients into your blender and puree on high for a minute or two until it is liquified. Pour into 2 serving bowls.
- Chill in the fridge for at least half hour.
- Serve with a sprinkling of garam masala and garnish with mint and basil leaves.
